When I start planning a trip to Italy, my heart fills with delight. The impressive Firenze, the unique Venice, the history of Rome, and the deep blue waters of the Italian islands. I find that staying in a B&B is the perfect way to complement Italy’s old-world charms. They’re small in scale and usually feature a charming owner, like Sofia, who hosted me on my last trip to Puglia. She’d greet me each morning with a hearty ‘Buongiorno’ as I opened the shutters of my window.
That’s what I mean when I refer to “the personal touch” and it’s why I regularly return to these small-scale paradises.
A B&B affords you the opportunity to stay in an actual home. You’ll chat with the owner, and of course, you will be served a fresh breakfast each morning. Many of our Italian B&Bs have the added benefit of being set in beautiful nature.
Whether you go for an authentic location, a romantic spot, or somewhere where you can dive into the pool. I would be happy to help you along the way with finding your Bed and Breakfast in Italy. I have managed to find many B&Bs throughout the country, something for everyone!
In Italy, there is something for every type of traveler, on the mainland or on the Italian islands. If you stay at a Bed & Breakfast in Puglia, the surrounding villages are bursting with culture and history. If you're lucky, you can even spend the night in a fairytale Trulli or an authentic masseria. Do you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the cities? Then take the Vespa for a blissful ride through the rolling hills of Tuscany and settle down here at a B&B. To dive into the history of this beautiful country, I always look for a B&B in Lazio.
Do you prefer to always have a beach nearby? Take off to Campania or to the islands. These are ideal destinationd with endless coastal strips. At a Bed and Breakfast in Sardinia and Sicily, you will be amazed! I love to swim in the azure blue sea and explore the beautiful valleys that invite you to walk for hours.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more to discover...
