When I visited Cyprus for the first time, I was blown away. I rented a car and drove through picturesque villages, enjoying the island’s natural surroundings and historic sights. Cyprus is like a large museum, with excavations and ruins on almost every street corner.

I strolled through historic villages and enjoyed stunning nature walks. There’s always something new to discover in Cyprus – it’s such a versatile place.  One of the highlights of my trip was a visit to the archaeological site of Choirokoitia and the rock of Aphrodite. But I’ll never forget those narrow roads in the Troodos Mountains. Thankfully, the view was more than worth it.
