This winter, exchange the cold for the Spanish sun and opt for a winter sun holiday in Spain. In many places in this lovely country, the sun still shines in winter. The tapas might taste even better! It is wonderful to explore Spain during this period. Popular destinations such as the coast of southern Spain like Andalusia or the sunny Canary Islands are great destinations to travel to. With mild temperatures you can enjoy a walk through the mountains or a visit a village.
There are many people who see Spain as a second home in the winter. They pack their bags and go for a month (or sometimes even longer) to this lovely country. If you are not made for the cold, it is a nice option to grab some sun rays in the winter. A Spanish summer holiday in the sun certainly helps against the winter dip. There are so many great reasons to pack your bags for the winter sun:
The Spanish coasts such as Alicante and Andalusia are very popular as a sunny destination in the winter. Regions such as Ronda, Malaga and Seville are also highly recommended. If you think that you will also bump into tourists here in winter, that's not necessarily the case. It is actually a lot quieter so that you can discover more of your holiday destination in a peaceful way.
The Spanish islands are often sunny, even in winter. On Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, and Fuerteventura you will get a good dose of Vitamin D. With your rental car you can explore the islands. Drive through the unique landscapes and special coasts and create some unforgettable memories.
