I truly believe that the hospitality I have received in small-scale hotels and apartments cannot be matched anywhere. No question is too much trouble. No request too strange. Not to mention the sense of peace and space at these gems. A gentle breeze, birdsong, or soothing waves in the distance are often the only sounds you hear at these locations.
