Special agriturismo on the island of Sicily

A farm holiday for the real hedonist

Ah, Sicily! The island of special bays and an azure blue sea, Mount Etna, extensive vineyards, and tasteful cuisine. Do you want to escape from the crowd and stay in an authentic place in the middle of nature? Then a holiday at an agriturismo in Sicily is something for you. This Italian island is a melting pot of all kinds of cultures and I tried the most delicious dishes there. I tasted couscous with fresh fish, risotto with orange and pistachio, and pasta with sweet and sour aubergine. Italian, Greek, Arab and Norman influences complement each other perfectly.

What is an agriturismo?

An agriturismo is in a farm that has been converted into an agriturismo, where you can now stay in a hotel, B&B or apartment. When staying at a rustic agriturismo you are close to farm life and you can fully enjoy everything that the countryside has to offer. Think of homemade dishes with fresh produce from the country, long sultry dinners in the open air, or a cozy wine tasting. In Sicily, there are many citrus farms, but wine, olive oil, or sun-ripened vegetables are also produced.

Do you already see yourself at one of these destinations? Then simply book a holiday at my small-scale agriturismo in Sicily. They are often full quickly because there are only a few places.

Enjoy a unique farm holiday in Sicily

Spend the night at the farm

If you've always wanted to spend a night on a farm, I can definitely recommend going on holiday at an agriturismo in Sicily. In addition to the beautiful countryside, you can also taste the real life of the Italian locals here. Not only in the restaurant at your B&B or hotel but also in villages such as Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Syracusa, and Sicily.

In addition to this relaxed life, there is also plenty to do in Sicily; Sun, sea, and beach! For lovers of the sea, there is enough coastal strip and warm sun to spend the days there. During the day at the beach, I love to take a walk along the coast around noon. Strolling through the water with my feet, I cool down and relax.

Sicily is also known for its beautiful nature and of course the volcano Etna. I've already made the hike to the top and I can tell you: the view is worth it. What's even nicer is to take a dip in the refreshing swimming pool when you return to a luxury agriturismo. Enjoy your holiday!

If you book a package holiday with me, It always includes stay plus rental car!

Car hire to travel from and to the farmhouse

Driving is the best way to discover this island!

What is certain is that a car is handy to have if you are going to travel on this island. To get from one place to another from your accommodation, you often have to travel quite a few kilometers. Agriturismos in Sicily are away from the crowd; in the most beautiful but also remote locations. And it is exactly that silence that is so nice on holiday.
