If you want a last-minute Greek holiday, I've got you covered! I've been visiting the Greek Islands for many years, and every time I discover something new while exploring with my rental car. A picturesque little village, or some friendly locals. And the views on those vibrant blue seas never get old! I am lucky to have found many small-scale locations, so you get to enjoy these views from your Greek holiday home or hotel. My inner explorer could travel to Greece at any time, really, if only for that gorgeous tzatziki!
With 6,000 islands in the Mediterranean, Ionian and Aegean Seas, Greece is a last-minute destination with something for everyone. Each island has its own charm.
On Crete for example, I relish my long walks over endless sandy beaches. A perfect location to clear my head! As are the glorious mountains on Samos. Kefalonia's cosy taverns make me discover new Greek delicacies every time. On Zante (Zakynthos), it is an excellent location for scuba diving. You might even spot sea turtles!
A last minute to Rhodes takes you on a journey through the ages, there is a lot of cultural heritage to explore with over 200 churches and historical buildings. And I should mention the green island of Corfu, with its unique landscape full of cypresses, oleanders and olive trees.
And that is just a handful of examples – there are many more Greek Isles to discover and explore, full of cultural heritage and hidden beaches to unwind during a beach holiday. What all Greek islands have in common are their white houses surrounded by olive trees and their golden beaches by a bright-blue sea. This makes Greece one of my favourite holiday destinations!

If you love your food and drink, you will love a last-minute holiday to the Greek Islands. I can just taste the unique Greek cuisine as I'm writing this! The best gyros, the famous moussaka or a stifado stew – I can never get enough. And did you know the Greek have their very own version of tapas? Order a 'mezze' in a Greek taverna and you'll get a plethora of small Greek dishes; the locals' favourite! The people are happy to share their culinary culture with you and are keen to offer you a shot of ouzo to get you started.
My authentic Greek locations are what makes Greece for me. The cosy décor, the stone walls and the eternal chirping coming in through the open windows make this my second home. I offer many unique small-scale spots in Greece, so there is definitely one for you! Whether you want to be spoilt in a luxury boutique hotel, enjoy your private apartment with the family, or savour the space in your holiday villa – I have the spot for you. And they have one thing in common; they all come with a swimming pool, so you can take a refreshing dip whenever you like!
I travel to Greece from April onwards, even though it can be a little chilly on the islands still. June, July and August are the months to travel to Greece if you like the hot summer sun. Even September and October are pleasant; it is a little quieter everywhere and I'm still able to sit out on my terrace reading a book.
If you book a flight holiday with me, it always includes accommodation and rental car!
