What are the cancellation costs?

If you request a cancellation via My Eliza, these cancellation fees will apply:

>55 days 30%

36-55 days 50%

22-35 days 70%

11-21 days 90%

0-10 days 100%


Eliza was here does not offer free cancellations or the right of withdrawal within a consideration or cooling off period. This is due to the services booked, accommodation and transport, a certain date during a specific period.


If the cancellation costs are lower than the total price of the holiday, we will refund the overpaid amount to your bank account within 14 working days. To process the payment and refund you the money, we do need your IBAN and BIC codes. For more information on IBAN and BIC codes, please check this FAQ.



How much is the deposit?

At Eliza, the general deposit is 30% of the total price. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before departure. 


Flight packages

30% of the holiday price + 100% of the flight price = deposit.


-If flights are included in your booking, you will be required to pay for these in addition to the standard deposit, before your booking is confirmed. You will be requested to pay this amount as part of booking step 4. If you book your holiday within 6 weeks of departure, the full amount will be payable to confirm your holiday.

My credit card has been charged, what should I do?

This is usually the deposit's reservation. This amount will be refunded within 4 weeks of returning home. If you haven't received it after 4 weeks, please contact us at info@elizawashere.co.uk, and be sure to include your booking number. We will contact our partner and ensure that you are refunded.


How do I check in online with easyJet?

You can check in between 30 days and 2 hours before your flight departs. Log in to your easyJet account to check-in for your flight.

How can I cancel my entire holiday?

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the cancellation date and the number of days before departure - the more notice you give, the less we will be forced to charge.

If you cancel your holiday, we will calculate the cancellation costs according to the Eliza was here conditions. Standard cancellation is therefore not free of charge. Eliza was here does not offer free cancellations or the right of withdrawal within a consideration or cooling off period. This is due to the services booked, accommodation and transport, a certain date during a specific period. The lead booker is the only one who can request a cancellation. 


You can cancel your booking via your My Eliza account, where you will see the cancellation costs. If there are any outstanding cancellation costs, you can settle this directly via Credit card or Debit card. If you do not pay the cancellation costs immediately, you can log back in at a later stage to pay. If you have an "overpaid amount", we will refund the overpaid amount within 14 days. If you have (partially) paid for your holiday with a credit note Eliza was here will reassign this amount to a credit note. 


You will receive the cancellation invoice by email within 2 hours of cancellation.
