What is included with my rental car?

A rental car class Small* with full insurance coverage is selected as standard for your holiday. You pick up and drop off this car at the airport. What else is included?


- Unlimited mileage

- Standard extra third-party liability insurance of €7.5 million

- Fully comprehensive insurance (CDW)

- Vehicle theft protection (TP)

- Reimbursement deductible excess

- Cover glass-tire-bottom and roof damage

- 24/7 availability of the emergency number of Sunny Cars


*A rental car class Small with full insurance coverage is selected as standard for your holiday. After booking, we will check if the chosen car is available. If the chosen car is not available, we will try to offer you a suitable alternative. In exceptional cases it may happen that a rental car is no longer available. In both cases we will contact you to discuss the options. You have the possibility to upgrade the rental car on request. In the unlikely event that this is not available, we will look for a suitable alternative within the possibilities of our partner Sunny Cars, of which additional costs are for your own account. If no suitable alternative is found or if the alternative does not meet your wishes, you have the option to cancel the rental car free of charge before departure.


On site you will pay any additional services or accessories, such as a baby or child seat, to the local partner. You are also required to pay a mandatory deposit. The amount of the deposit depends on the local partner. The amount is always clearly stated in the rental conditions. A valid credit card in the name of the main driver is required to pay the deposit.


Perhaps the lessor will try to offer you extra insurance when you pick up the rental car. You can absolutely reject this. The rental car that we have prepared for you via Sunny Cars is always fully insured. Before you leave, carefully check what damage the car may already have and write this down with the lessor.


The local fleet provider also asks for a mandatory deposit: after all, you will receive an object that represents a decent value. The deposit is a guarantee for him in the event of damage, theft, fraud or negligence. The amount of the deposit depends on the local partner. The amount is always clearly stated in the rental conditions. A valid credit card in the name of the main driver is required to pay the deposit.
