This unique island group has so much more to offer! Whether you're taking a short break or are planning to do some island hopping, it has something for everyone. Luckily, I managed to collect some great spots during my travels. Are you excited yet for a small-scale holyday to this piece of paradise?
Historic Rhodes
Rhodes always impresses me with its medieval architecture. Every time I venture out onto this impressive island, I make sure to visit the Valley of Butterflies – a natural reserve boasting stream, quaint bridges and impressive little waterfalls. In early summer, you find 1000s of butterflies in this secluded valley. Rhodes is definitely one of the most scenic of the Dodecanese Islands.
Colourful Karpathos
I love exploring the isle of Karpathos. The green hills, secluded bays and white mountain villages make for a gorgeous pallet. Time and again I get to enjoy the freshly prepared local seafood dishes prepared for me on the spot. During my trips to this island, I always visit the picturesque little town of Olympos. The narrow streets, colourful houses and amazing vistas make for a truly special excursion.
